• It saves energy – According to Stark State College, aluminum cans require 95 percent less energy to manufacture when they are manufactured using recycled materials. This is just one of many examples showing how recycling saves energy.

• It protects wildlife – When we use recycled materials, we reduce the need to further damage forests, rivers, and other places essential to wildlife to gather the resources to manufacture our products.
