If you need to bring a sweet treat to your next get-together or family party, why not try your hand at whipping up some cupcakes? While baking cookies or a cake might seem like the easier choice, cupcakes are something different that nearly everyone at your celebration will enjoy.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to bake delicious cupcakes at your Alachua, Florida, apartment:

• Flour, 2 cups

• Salt, ½ teaspoon

• Baking powder, 2 teaspoons

• Butter, ½ cup softened

• Sugar, ¾ cup

• Eggs, 2

• Milk, 1 cup

• Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon

• Your choice of icing

First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and then prepare a muffin pan by lining it with baking cups. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a separate bowl, blend the butter and sugar together until it’s light and fluffy. One at a time, beat in the eggs. Next, add the original flour, baking soda, and salt mixture slowly, alternating with milk. Beat well, and then stir in vanilla. Divide the mixture evenly among the baking cups and bake for 18 minutes.
