Do you enjoy being crafty? Completing artistic projects can be a fun way to stretch your creative muscles and make something beautiful to have in your home. For a quick and easy home project, consider making personalized photo coasters.

Here are the supplies you will need to create personalized photo coasters:

• Photos

• Square ceramic coasters

• Mod Podge® (an all-in-one craft glue, sealer, and finish)

• A sponge applicator

• Clear acrylic high-gloss coating spray

• Felt

To create your coasters, follow these steps:

• Step 1 – Find the photo you would like to use and trim it so it will fit perfectly onto your coaster.

• Step 2 – Cover the table where you will be creating your coasters with newspaper. Then, using the sponge applicator, apply a layer of Mod Podge® to the back of the photo and place the photo onto the coaster, pressing down to ensure the photo is firmly glued on. Let dry before moving on to the next step.

• Step 3 – Next, apply a layer of Mod Podge® to the top of the photo with the sponge applicator, using directional strokes (either left to right, right to left, or diagonal). Apply three coats, letting the Mod Podge® dry completely between each coat.

• Step 4 – Take the coaster outside, away from any structure, vehicle, furniture, or people, and mist the top with acrylic coating spray. Allow each coat to dry for at least 15 minutes before spraying on another coat. You will want to spray on at least three coats.

• Step 5 – Cut out a piece of felt that is the same size as the coaster and apply it to the back of the coaster, using Mod Podge®. Let it dry, and then you’re done!
